Let the summer fun begin:)

We can tell that the summer months are quickly approaching. It seems that everything picks up speed and we need to hold on to our hats because time starts to FLY by. Last week the kids had a slumber party at Grandma and Grandpa Meade's. Whenever I announce to Tessa that they are staying overnight there she reacts as if she's won a million dollars. So in other words she gets a little excited:) I really can't tell her in advance otherwise she has many sleepless nights anticipating this magical sleepover. The kids stayed over there last Friday (the first two pics below were from the fun w/ my parents) and then they all came up Saturday to the Dells where we played at the waterpark. Unfortunately I was a bad photographer and only took one pic of Mitchell and Tessa, but do know that Nolan loved it too! Tessa went down the same slide maybe 100 times and LOVED it. Mitchell of course loved it too but was very careful that the bucket didn't dump water on him when he'd go down the slide. Marah wasn't quite as sure about all of it but finally came out of her shell a little to play in the water. Mason wasn't able to join us as he had just had his tonsils out that week but soon enough we will all be spending another weekend at the waterpark. I seriously love waterparks just as much now as I did when I was little. I wonder if that will ever change? Probably not!

Mitchell is such a great "big" cousin, he is so great to my kids. They are so lucky to have him to look up to. Of course Mason and Marah too, although physically Nolan almost looks down at Marah since he's pretty much bigger than her:) Three great role models for my two little munchkins.

Easter Egg Hunt

This year we were lucky enough to be invited to the annual Easter egg hunt that Jessie and Beau's family take part in every year. We've always heard all the fun stories from the egg hunt but have never been able to witness it ourselves...until this year. WOW, almost two thousand eggs were scattered, hidden, and perfectly placed at Beau's grandma's house. His aunts and cousins put this amazing Easter egg hunt together and this year it was a little closer to home so we joined in the fun. The kids loved it. All of them. There were kids of all ages running around the yard trying to gather as many eggs as they could. Even single Easter basket was plump full of eggs by the end of the hunt. What a fun start to Easter weekend this year:)
