Tessa is 7!

My baby girl is 7!  She was so excited about her birthday.  This year was the first time she had a "friend" party where she just asked a few friends from school to come and swim.  They had a wild and crazy time and had so much fun.  For her actual birthday we went camping.  I think she was equally excited for both of those birthday celebrations.  Everyone camping makes her feel so special and is so sweet to her.  She feels so special and enjoys it so much.  She just smiles and giggles the entire day as everyone the entire day reminds her that she's the birthday girl.

Happy 7th birthday Tessaroo.  What a sweetheart you are.  You are a constant reminder to enjoy the little things.

Tennessee Trip 2014

Our summer trip to Tennessee was so much fun!  Mike and Cindy graciously opened their beautiful home to all of us which made it so 17 of us were staying together in the house.  It's truly a little peace of heaven tucked in the back woods of TN.  I could do without some of the bumps and turns on the roads to get there (got a little carsick on the way home...sorry to mom and dad and T and N for putting up with me for the first hour of the trip...yuck...) but it's all worth it to enjoy their lake house.  We were able to see J and Summer's house which was beautiful as well.  The best part of the trip was just all being together.  It takes me back to that last few posts I've done...it's about the little things.  The silly stories, the funny jokes, the reminiscing, the laughing.  Those are what life is about.

It was soooo much fun to see Asher, Ryder, and Skyler too.  My kids haven't stopped talking about them since we got home.  We really enjoy our time together but boy it would be fun to live closer and to see those cuties more often.  Our time in TN consisted of playing, eating, sleeping, swimming, maybe an occasional nap, playing, eating, sleeping, swimming, etc.  It was a perfect start to summer.  Such fun memories for all of us.  Thank you Mike and Cindy, we always love the time we get to spend with you.
