Just singing in the rain...

Do you remember playing in the rain when you were little? I do! That is one of those things in life that makes me feel like a kid again. It's a tough call when trying to decide who is actually having more fun out in the rain...me, Tessa, or Nolan?! I do love it. And yes, we've already had plenty of stick races that we race down the street. We have a perfect street for stick/boat races. A little hill so we can run right next to our stick as we cheer it on in hopes that it goes down the drain at the bottom of the hill first. God I loved being a kid and feel so lucky to still enjoy those moments with my own kids. In the pics below it's kind of hard to tell that it is raining but it was POURING! Whenever it rains, of course with no thunder or lightening, our new thing is to get our rain gear on as fast as we can and run out the door. We'd hate to miss a good old spring shower and of course would hate to miss the chance to have a boat race.

Trip to the Zoo

Let the summer fun begin! Over Memorial Day weekend we went to the Milwaukee Zoo with some friends. Of course I had my camera put away for most of the time we were there however we caught a few pics. The kids had fun and the weather actually turned out okay. We were afraid the rain would cancel our trip but it didn't. Here's to many more fun times this summer with the kiddos!
